Spanish Colonial Contemporary Avalon

Spanish Colonial Contemporary Avalon

Mirador Builders is pleased to present a Spanish colonial contemporary home in Houston’s inner loop, Avalon Place. This Seville Spain inspired home was constructed and designed by Jennifer Hamelet of Mirador Builders with architecture by Murphy Mears.

Located a short distance from highly regarded public and private schools, fine shopping, dining, and adjacent to River Oaks. It has four bedrooms, four full baths, and two powder rooms. The stunning formals have fabulous flow as do the upstairs master retreat, media/game room. There are three interior fireplaces and an abundance of natural light.

Designer and Builder, Jennifer Hamelet selected Limestone and encaustic tile floors blended 21st-century conveniences with old-world sensibilities. The contemporary and antique lighting is the perfect touch for every room. Reclaimed and modern materials combined to enhance this home. The roof is clay tile with “ice and water shield”

It is wired for sound and includes security systems. The generous yet private garden is spacious enough for a pool and had a covered patio with a custom-designed wood-burning Kiva fireplace. It has a zoned-16 seer HVAC system, tankless water heater, and is fully fenced with an electric driveway gate.
