Mirador Builders LP is owned by Jennifer Hamelet.   Jennifer is a native Houstonian, graduated from the Kinkaid School and studied Interior Design at the University of Texas in Austin. She has been designing and marketing for over twenty years. Jennifer's greatest talent is in building authentic Spanish Colonial Revival, Tudor or Coastal style homes over 5000 square feet but she has a special fondness for helping a first time home buyer start the process of earning equity. Each Mirador home benefits from her years of experience and attention to detail. Jennifer is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Houston and now volunteers her time to preserve the parks and esplanades in River Oaks as the board President of the River Oaks Foundation. She is also a supporter of Historic Houston and never misses an opportunity to preserve an old home; or at least reclaim what she can from a home that Mirador must tear down.

Mirador was recently listed in the Houston Business Journal as number 23 on its list of top builders by revenue and as number 10 on the HBJ's list of Houston's Fastest Growing Woman Owned Businesses. 

 Mirador builds inside or near loop 610 in areas that are expected to hold or appreciate in value. The company keeps an inventory of homes ready to move into and will custom build or assist with a preservation or remodeling project.
